Nothing But Thieves Saint Paul Concert reviews
Superb Evening
Ms. Thieves, only a few words were switched from this review. Her trio played a wonderful mix of music that included Irving Berlin, Carlos Jobim, Nat King Cole, Peggy Lee songs, and more! She seemed to gain in energy as she went along, playing for two full hours. She played a real revelation with her piano last night. Anyone who likes jazz has to see her someday. She is always impressed by her voice, but her piano playing was a real revelation. She also had a full orchestra that added tremendously to the sound. Ms. Nothing But Thieves was even better than last time and seemed to gain in energy as she went along. Her trio of talented musicians earned well-deserved applause and was on fire. There are not enough superlatives to capture the fun and pleasure of the concert. She is such an all-around talent and that made for a marvelously fantastic evening. Everyone should see and hear her in person. The beautiful sound.
